Welcome to the OKTLE web-based application for the Tulsa TLE Teacher Evaluation model.
Our system provides many innovations and enhancements to make the process of teacher evaluation
easier to manage and to help you better assist those teachers who need your help.
When evaluators conduct their observations they can use their, IPhone, Android, or any
other tablet, laptop or smartphone. Classroom walkthroughs are also permitted, but not required.
The evaluation screen allows the evaluator to utilize the information gained from walkthroughs,
observations and teacher portfolio information, uploaded by the teacher, in determining ratings for the evaluation.
This feature has generated a great deal of interest from evaluators. In order to help manage the great amount of
text contained within the evaluation rubric, OKTLE has made it expandable on demand. By moving the mouse or touching
the screen on the bubble next to a rating, the rubric section for that rating appears, and will remain only as long
as it is desired.
For teachers that require assistance, the first level is the Push Pin. A Push Pin can be a simple as a note the
evaluator makes for himself to document information, or a note shared with a teacher in need of assistance that does
not rise to the level of a formal plan for improvement.
For those teachers in need of improvement that does rise to the level of requiring a formal plan of improvement,
the Personal Development Plan screen will be utilized. Evaluators following the format of this screen will have
included all of the elements necessary for an effective plan. In addition, assistance with the development of
Personal Development Plans is offered to all OKTLE clients at no additional charge, as part of the annual
subscription fee.
Our resource library includes videos of teacher performance that may be viewed and shared with teachers needing
assistance. The library also includes ideas for improvement of teaching performance to help evaluators in their
assistance of teachers.
Teachers have their own personal page at OKTLE. They can access this page to see any and all documents related
to their evaluation process, from walkthroughs and Push Pins, to Observations and Evaluations. Teacher may also
utilize their page to upload evidence of teaching that they would like to share with their evaluator.
